I'm lookin to network wit anyone who is hot and serious about this shit. Lets get this money and quit tha hatin ppl...its enuff money out here for all of us. I know my hustlehand is somethin serious, if u ain't willin to sacrifice everything but family, you aint goin nowhere. Took a long time for me to realize that, just a word to those who havent xperienced tha distractions that can come ur way doin this...STAY FOCUSED! It'll pay off in the end
WHAT IS REAL MUSIC?
You know lately, I been hearin alot about Hip Hop is Dead and the South destroyed hip hop or hip hop aint what it used to be. I totally disagree. Hip Hop is not just music, its an entire culture. Fashion, Movies, Language, and more! I grew up listening to KRS One, Rakim, PE, N.W.A., Illmatic, you get the picture in that era. And I remember our uncles, aunts and parents used to say: That rap stuff aint no real music listen to this O.J.'s or Temptations, now thats music! The same way THEIR parents used to tell them that Nina Simone, Satchmo, and Dinah Washington was REAL music. From generation to generation music changes, adapts, and evolves. Me personally, I can find something good about mostly all music, and I think if you take the time to listen to it you can too. Now, I do have my preferences, and I don't really listen to the new rap music thats been coming out, some of its hot, some of its not to me, but I cant say its not hip hop or its not real music because this is what THIS generation likes. No, I wont be Crankin the Spiderman or Batman anytime soon either, but my kids love that shit! lol. So I dont criticize their music because I understand TO THEM, this is GREAT music, so who am I to judge it? So tell me how is hip-hop dead? Its only evolved to fit its new audience. Besides, alot of rappers are hating (here we go with this hater stuff again) because niggaz in the South are getting the Lion's share of attention now and eatin and alot of these rappers cant figure out the formula. 4 Words: STEP YOUR GAME UP! I tell myself this everyday. When the Midwest's time comes (if we can ever stop all this blockin and hating around here) they goin say the same thing about us. Its enuff out here for everybody, get out of that "top 1% I gotta have it all and if I can't eat then nobody eats" mentality. This is a capitalist society (well supposed to be) get yours and stop blaming others and making excuses.
SERIOUSLY....
Hold on...lemme put down my muthafuckin kool aid and turkey wing! I know I didn't just hear what the fuck I thought I heard? Gucci the greatest and hottest rapper?! LMMFAO twice! Now I tried to shut the fuck up on my opinion of Gucci but this is going too far! There's nothing wrong with self confidence but him putting himself in the class with other REAL lyricists is just wrong. As far as that cute lil teeny bopper shit...yeah he the man, him and Soulja Boy. As far as club shit yeah he got the hot beats and choruses, but lyrics, if his lyrics r hot to you, you need to re-evaluate yourself as a fan of hip hop! If you put Gucci up there with Rakim, Chuck D, KRS 1, Jay Z, Nas, Biggie or Pac, hell even Luda or T.I. call 911 and go commit yourself now cause you're having a mental breakdown...anyways I know I ain't major (yet) but thats just my opinion! I'm glad these brothaz found a way to get that rap paper hopefully I get there one day. In the meantime, if you know Gucci, tell him to stick to the club rap cause lyrics ain't his thang. Not hatin jus bein real fam! One.
TIME TO GET IT IN!!!
First of all, let me start this off by THANKING, yes THANKING...all the haters. I'm loving the free promotion. Now anyways...I gotta address something real. Don't let no one or nobody hold u back from reaching your goals or achieving your dreams. To quote Criss Angel..."BELIEVE!" Seems like I been doin this forever, and the problem I had was putting everybody before me. Tryna put out niggaz who could rap, but had no discipline, wasn't as hungry as me, or just didnt want to work as hard as me to get it. If I think about all the time and money I wasted over the last 10 years, shit I coulda been on! Oh well, water under the bridge now. This year I'm puttin a full fledged effort for myself. This year it's all ABOUT me! When I get there, don't try to jump on the bandwagon u know who u are...
